We are owners of MARY'S HOMESTEAD. We have a Hobby Farm
which includes a big garden and sometimes we have chicken and rabbits. We sell homesteading and preparedness items.
We now have the year 2008 heirloom seeds for sale. WE SELL BAKER CREEK AND SEED SAVERS EXCHANGE HEIRLOOM SEEDS. THIS YEAR WE ADDED SEED SAVER EXCHANGE AS SOMETIMES ONE COMPANY RUNS OUT OF A VARIETY. It is now time to plan your garden and order your seeds so you will be ready to plant your garden in the spring. All of our seeds are non-hybrid, NON-GMO, non-treated and non-patented. Many of our varieties go back many years. All of our seeds are viable and vigorous from year to year. As the price of food is going up, (according to the World Economic Forum, January, 2008) growing a garden is a practical way to save money. We have free information on our web site. We will be putting up information about gardening and preserving during this spring, summer and, fall season.

Our mission is to help others with homesteading and preparedness for the glory of GOD. The word homesteading in modern day language means self-sufficiency. We have a deep love for it. We use heirloon seeds in our garden and mostly organic plants. Our organic food in our garden is delicious because of heirloom seeds.
John has a degree in horticulture. Jerrie has some home-ec- education. We grow a organic garden. We buy as much organic food as we can. We do not like the genetic food and we try to educate people on the good organic food. We like homesteading chickens and rabbits and the good organic food from them. We believe we are living in difficult times and self-sufficiency is important. We get so much happiness and joy from our garden every year.
