This link tells you how to find out your last frost date, garden location, starting seeds indoors, when to transfer the seeds or seedlings outdoors after the last frost, direct seeding in the garden before the last frost,  row spacing chart, row spacing charts, distance for saving seeds, how long until harvest, and much more.

This would make a wonderful christmas gift to give for Christmas. You may copy and print this link and make a SEED PLANTING HANDBOOK for your self and you Christmas gift list. This is a low cost gift because of the economy.

We believe that PREPAREDNESS  is important today. Reasons to prepare are floods, power outages, earthquakes, wars, and the high price of food and shortages.

PREPAREDNESS FOR DISASTERS

PREPAREDNESS TIPS

At MARY'SHOMESTEAD we talk a lot about organic food, growing it and shopping for the best organic food. We can, dry, freeze, and pickle it.

There are other kinds of preparedness that is important.

Water is the most important. You will need at least 14 gallons per person for 2 weeks. You can not live without water.

There are many other items also, medicines, first aid, fuel, heat, books, a bible, heirloom garden seeds, gas for cooking and much more.

PLEASE PREPARE !

WE ALSO DO IT FOR OUR GRANDCHILDREN. PLEASE DO IT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION !
