We are John & Jerrie Holden, owners of Mary's Homestead. We originally came to MO from CO  for our grandchildren.  The first thing we did was buy our homestead.

We like to help other homesteaders. We believe homesteading skills is so important nowdays.

Our mission is to help others with homesteading & preparedness  for the glory of God. Prayer is the most important activity for us.

Jerrie has put some of her memories of her family background plus pictures in the handbooks we sell. There is a lot of homesteading skills in Jerrie's background. 

John has a degree in horticulture.  Jerrie has some home economics in her background. We try to use our skills as gifts for others.

We do not like the  GE food and we try to educate people on the good food. We like chickens and rabbits and the good food from them. Of course, that is if we can keep the animals away from them!
